Balm
Film and sound (4:24).
An old Irish lullaby, sung in Gaeilge by the artist, merges with breath, humming and field recordings. 'Balm' offers a relationality that is grounded in the senses, gesturing towards an intimacy that is held in small, soft places. Honey, egg, bronze, lemon balm and yarrow are both remedy and active participant in this work, a ritual of wound-tending, listening, and mourning.
